本研究室は，電力・エネルギーや交通・物流等の社会インフラストラクチャ・システムのあり方を，システムおよび構成要素の両面から検討を行っています。
すなわち，電力・エネルギー変換素子・蓄電素子・スイッチングデバイス等のシステムを構成する個々の要素からモデル化を行い，電力・エネルギーや高度道路交通情報システムのモデル構築へとつなげ，得られたモデルをもとに最適な社会インフラストラクチャ・システムを設計することで，地球規模の課題となっている環境・エネルギー問題の解決を目指しています。
