Various kinds of modeling methods have been applied in simulating power systems. Even in EMTP, several kinds of models for each element are applicable. Each has each feature, --- High accuracy but long calculation time, Less accuracy and short calculation time, Wide scope of application, Limited scope of application, etc. In simulations, appropriate modelings should be used depending on the purposes.
