12.1 Critical conditions for super conductivity

Depending on the super conductive materials, current density, temperature and magnetic flux density limits exist. See Fig. 12.1. By the restriction of current density and necessary current value of a transformer, certain amount of the material, i.e. due to the necessary cross section, is to be applied.
